A Sensory Journey Through Southern Italy

Reserve Your Spot

Life in Italy is experienced vibrantly, with each delicious bite, energetic conversation, and intentionally shared moment.

Our journey is a slow & immersive through Southern Italy, designed to support restoration, presence, and connection.

Beginning on the island of Ischia, known for its natural thermal waters & volcanic landscape, the sea environment encourages your body to soften.

In Sorrento, traditional food and cultural exploration invite deeper engagement with Italian daily life.

Savor each moment as it unfolds.

The Journey

  • Arrival on Ischia marks a gentle transition into island rhythm. At Borgo Romantica, sea-view rooms and open horizons create space to land, unpack, and breathe. The first days are shaped by ease, allowing the body and nervous system to relax naturally into a new rhythm.

  • Water is a steady presence throughout the Ischia portion of the journey. Thermal pools, coastal views, and time by the sea invite rest and renewal, offering moments of quiet recalibration. These experiences support a sense of softness and presence that carries through the week.

  • In Sorrento, food becomes a primary way of connecting with culture and daily life. A Sorrento lemon farm visit and limoncello, wine, and olive oil tastings invigorate your senses. A family-run cooking class offers direct engagement with regional traditions shaped by land and lineage. Meals are unhurried, shared, and deeply rooted in place.

  • Time is intentionally left open for personal exploration and choice. Guests may wander coastal towns, visit Capri or Pompeii, head out on the water, or simply enjoy unstructured hours in Sorrento. Staying at Hotel Palazzo Guardati, a boutique hotel centrally located in the historic heart of town, makes it easy to move between rest and discovery.

  • Throughout the journey, shared meals provide a natural rhythm for connection. Conversations unfold over long tables, ferry crossings, and evening dinners, allowing relationships to form with ease. The group experience is shaped by presence, warmth, and the simple act of spending time together.

What You’ll Receive

This journey is thoughtfully curated so you can relax into the experience, knowing the details are cared for.

You’ll receive a balance of guided experiences and personal space, with accommodations selected for comfort, location, and atmosphere. Ferry transfers between locations are arranged, and experiences are intentionally paced to support presence and enjoyment rather than constant movement.

Throughout the week, you’ll be supported by on-site facilitation in a small-group container that allows connection among each other and with Italy to unfold naturally through shared meals, conversation, and activities.

Traveling together creates a natural sense of ease — shared meals, ferry crossings, and daily rhythms offer moments of connection while still leaving room for personal exploration and rest.

Southern Italy invites this kind of shared experience. Days may include snorkeling in clear coastal waters, wandering the historic streets of Sorrento, visiting a lemon grove to learn how limoncello is made, or settling into island life on Ischia with sea views.

Some join on their own, others as couples or with friends. The connection unfolds organically, shaped by the warmth of Italy and the pleasure of experiencing it side by side.

These moments are simple, sensory, and joyful — best savored in good company.

  • This retreat is intentional, spacious, and embodied.

    Our locations include:

    • gentle hills

    • stairs

    • uneven stone pathways

We move slowly and allow time for rest and integration, but there will be more steps than many experience in a typical day. As an ancient location, walkways and city areas contain cobblestone and are not ADA-compliant. Also, please keep in mind that you will be carrying your luggage during transition periods.

  • Pre-Departure Gatherings

We will meet online before the retreat to cover logistics, cultural context, and gentle introductions with others on the journey. These gatherings create early coherence and connection.

    Group Coherence & Support

You’ll begin the retreat feeling prepared and familiar with your fellow travelers.

    Post-Retreat Integration

After returning home, we will gather to reflect on our experiences together and support a continued connection to how we felt in Italy, to help bring it back into your everyday life.

Integration is an essential part of the experience.
